I've read recent reviews of Maastricht university and they aren't great. Is it true the PBL approach is a disaster for grades and that most staff and instructors don't care and you just sink or swim?especially if you are non EU. The claim is UM just want foreign € which is why the international student population is so high!

Weed aint legal in the Netherlands, its tollerated, so the chance on getting a fine is nihil, but its def. not legal!

Don't go. Its not that good. The housing market collapsed, public transportation is expensive and unreliable, health insurance just to get ibuprofen, cold people, bad weather, a bit racist. Cool for vacation, but not to live.

To be clear: the holiday money is 8% of your year income. So in may/June you kinda get a double salary.

Can you please make a video on how to find your "first" apartment when you just arrive in the Netherlands? Assuming the person does not have a local address, bank account or a permanent phone number. All the house-hunting videos are for someone who has all those three things. But I could not find one video that tells you how to find an apartment when you first arrive and have no bank account.

WAIT ! no, it is not legal to smoke joints , only in Amsterdam, because I had a couple of friends that LOST their drivers licence in Rotterdam because they had WEED in their system, even after a few days. So dont be tricked with this one. Weed is legal in Amsterdam but NOT in The Netherlands / Holand. He just had a few smokes and has a drivers licence removed and almost lost his job. The Police there is REALLY strong .
